It seems like the majority of the iCarly and Austin & Ally Fandom thinks that Auslly (Aus/tin and A/lly) is the new Creddie (C/arly and F/reddie) but i disagree. So in this blog, I'm gonna rant about how different these two pairings are.
- Freddie had an unrequited crush on Carly since the 6th grade and waits for her through his peephole. Austin never did that and never had a unrequited crush on Ally.
- Carly and Freddie are a lot alike. They like to follow the rules and get good grades but Austin and Ally are opposites. Ally is the insecure singer/songwriter and Austin is the outgoing performer. Ally likes to watch clouds while Austin likes to watch horror movies and make really loud noise. Ally likes books. Austin likes having fun. Austin is cool and collected and Ally chews her hair when she gets nervous. Ally likes pickles. Austin likes pancakes.
- Carly and Freddie are both brunette while Austin is blonde and Ally is brunette with a ombre style in Season 2.
- Carly started liking Freddie when he saved her life. Ally figured out she liked Austin when they were on a practice date.
- I don't get why people say Auslly is the "new" Creddie when Flyna (Fl/etcher and Ch/yna) is exactly like Creddie. Freddie and Fletcher both have unrequited crushes on Carly/Chyna ever since they first saw her and Carly/Chyna would reject Freddie/Fletcher over and over again. Carly/Chyna always have to meddle between Freddie/Fletcher and Sam/Olive. Although come to think of it, A.N.T. Farm is like a Disney Channel version of iCarly. It even has the same creator name: Dan Schneider; Dan Signer.
- Carly and Freddie do a web show. Austin and Ally are music partners.
- The only thing that Auslly and Creddie have in common is that they're best friends and care about each other.
So those are all the points that i can come up with about how different they are. And i decided not long ago that I'm now neutral between Creddie and Seddie but it annoys me every time when people say Auslly is the new Creddie. So...
